Ken,
Hey, I just wanted to drop you a line to say thanks
for your help.
Over the past two years and several months I've been
involved in many motorcycle restoration projects. A
good percentage of which have sold over the internet
and through nation wide advertising and required
shipping.
Initially, I was either delivering bikes myself or I
was using Forward Air, only because their rates were
pretty much, unbeatable. However, the price of gas
went through the roof, Forward Air had a huge rate
increase for motorcycle shipping (because of damage
claims) and so that ended all that.
Upon the rate increase timeframe, I had a gentleman
request shipping to his door as he did not live
anywhere near a Forward Air terminal.
I was faced with finding a shipping company that
could handle this demand, not tear up my bike and do
it without costing a fortune or I'd lose the sale
and the buyer for future sales.
Well, it was a lot easier than I thought!
I found Daily Direct on the internet and proceeded
to schedule the delivery. Everyone was super helpful
and professional to boot. Carol called to let me
know when the driver was going to be there to pick
the bike up and gave me an approximate timeframe
when it would reach it's delivery point. K.C. was
the driver whom picked the bike up from me. He took
the time to tell me a little bit about Daily Direct
and its history, some of the folks who started it
and then showed me the truck and the tie down
systems that the company uses. He too was extremely
friendly and very professional. I was sold at that
point!!! Then I watched the care he took in handling
and inspecting the bike. K.C. and I, together,
inspected the bike and carefully noted any defects!
He then loaded the bike and really treated it as
though it was his own! When the bike reached the
final destination, I received a call from the buyer,
who also expressed his positive opinion of the
professionalism, care and exceptionally friendly
service he received from Daily Direct as well.
Since that shipment, I've used Daily Direct whenever
possible and certainly try to sell the company even
though I'm not the one who ultimately has to make
the shipping decision.
1. I first explain the professionalism, care and
courtesy that I've always received from the folks
who work with you at Daily Direct.
2. Go over the benefits of not having to crate the
bike (pay for the crating process) and having it
personally cared for and moved about by real people
as though it was their own and not by forklifts,
etc.
3. Tell them about the $20K insurance coverage
offered by Daily Direct versus the 50 cents a pound
Forward Air covers as though the bike was just a
piece of scrap metal.
4. Review the advantages of having the bike
delivered to their home or place of business by
truck versus having to drive to and from an air
terminal, uncrate a motorcycle, load and unload it
from their vehicle, having to connect the battery
and service the bike fluids and risk damaging it, in
one way or another, before they even get to ride it.
Then to top it all off...I can go on line and give
them an accurate quote within seconds of finding out
where they live!
Hell, I could be a salesman for Daily Direct without
even trying...it's so easy to sell when you truly
believe in something that works like Daily Direct.
Your company has CONSISTENTLY exceeded my service
expectations!

for your help in arranging the transport of my
25-bike collection from San Diego to Coos Bay, OR.
It was a pleasure dealing with you and everything
went smoothly and professionally. As I told you when
I first contacted you about this move, I never even
checked any other shippers. Since I first used your
company at the Las Vegas auction, I have been
impressed by the equipment and the service.
There
was a problem when the bikes got to Oregon. Much to
my chagrin, we found that the truck could not get
out to my new house because of restricted road and
sharp turns. That’s when your professionalism
really showed. Your driver, Don, could have
contractually just dropped off the bikes in Coos Bay
and gone on his way. Instead, he negotiated an
hourly rate with me and we spent the rest of the day
procuring a trailer and shuttling the bikes out to
the house one load at a time, finally finishing
after dark. Don took the lead in getting the job
done, and he really went way above and beyond the
call of duty. I can’t thank him and Daily Direct
enough for hanging in there with me, and will
continue to recommend your company to any and all.

What
a Nice Surprise!
Hey
Daily Direct,
My 1980 Yamaha got here today, Tuesday, –
ahead of schedule. What a nice surprise. Your
driver, Don, called with plenty of time in advance
and stayed in touch from that point on. He was
here at around 5:30 PM or shortly later which
was after closing for the business address that
was to receive the bike. It seems he was held
up in Sioux City with a guy who didn’t
want to roll a bike, to be picked-up, out to
the truck while it was raining. Don delivered
my bike right to my home with no problem for
me and evidently none for him either. He sure
was a nice fella to deal with. I’d have
him deliver to or for me anytime.
Thanks again to you and Don for the great service.
I’d be happy to recommend your operation,
especially with Don doing the deliveries, anytime.
