In its 87th year, Laconia Bike Week 2010 is the nation’s oldest motorcycle event and one of the largest, rivaling and similar only to the nation's largest rally at Sturgis. Laconia biker rally draws more than 500,000 each year at its nine-day event, according to recent estimates given by city officials, grown from a weekend gathering of fewer than 10,000 biker enthusiasts. It plans to be a big event in 2010 with headquarters at the Weirs Beach Waterslide and wrap up on Father's Day.
